पर्यटकिय गाउँ ताँङतिङ चैत्र मेला
Nepal is a mountainous and beautiful country where the people are very friendly and cooperative with each other. There are many beautiful villages in Nepal. The northern part of Kaski, (Upper Madi watershed valley) is also very rich with traditional ,cultural, festival and other many moral and values.
The local villagers have organizing many festivals since previous years for example , Maghe Mela on the first week of Magh in Sicklesh village,Sivha Ratri Mela on Falgun in Chipli ,Teej Mela on the occasion of Tij in Taprang , Baisakh Purnima Mela on the Budda Jayanti in Yanjakot and Chaitra Mela on Chaitra in Tangting village respectively.The main goals of such kind of Melas (Events) are to development discipline, co-operation between neighbor villagers and promote the villages. The explore of youth skill ,art of sport , preserve culture and value in the village.
The Tangting Chairtra Mela was initiated in 2045 BS in Deuri Kuna in Tangting. There had huge contributed from the people who lived in abroad, especially in British army, Indian army and other countries all over the world. Similarly, the villagers leader, youth and villagers have same enormous contribute to this Mela. There has been different events volleyball, basket ball, Thela, throwing stone, talk of war and cultural program. The participant of guests and sport man were satisfied since previous years.
The Chaitra Mela had been linking good relationship, co-operation with the neighboring villages .It enhanced to develop the sports and discipline self confidents of the youth. If the organize helps to promote the local production of farmers hand crafts etc in the Mela. The local people may sell their local goods and can do income generating. This is very good opportunity to sell bees honey, mountain herbal, local foods, and other many different people goods and the guests also have great time to buy the such kind of goods things in the village.
The Chaitra Mela has been organizing to celebrate the silver jubilee on April 7 in 2014(,Chaitra 24,2070 BS).Hence ,On the behalf of the Chaitra Mela Steering Committee and Tangting Youth Club ,we would like to invite to you all for attend and participant in this program with happily celebrate Chaitra Mela 2070 with together.
