पर्यटकिय गाउँ ताँङतिङ Tangting village
Tangting village is located 21 miles far from Pokhara Sub metropolitan in the north east direction in Namarjung Village Development Committee ,Kaski, Nepal. This village is very rich in cultural and natural. The majority of the population is Gurung with 90 % and Dalit is 10 %. There are 200 house hold and approximately 1350 population in the village. The all houses structure are made by mud and stone with roofing tin and slate.The village is surrounding by hills and forests in east and south side and Annapurna and Lamjung Himal directly faced in north side.
The bus and jeep gets at Kahukhola Bajhapatn, in Pokhara,13 Kaski. It takes Two and half hour from Kahaukhola to Kulo near of Tangting the Upalo Besi by bus. A hour walking than reach in Tangting from Kulo the last Jeep station. There are many natural sigh seeing on the way from Pokhara to Tanging.
There are 5 wards or settlement in the village, which are Pandit Tole,Ghotane Tole,Lama Thar,Danda Thar,and Gairi Thar. They have own cultural group in every ward of youth and mother group. They show their cultural program to the guests for welcome and special events in the village .If you would like to see the cultural program, can enjoy and contribute some money for the community. This is the good ways of fundraising in the village for development. There are facility of home stay in friendly environment.
The Annapurna and Lamjung Himal can see very near from Tangting. There are many view points around in Tangting. Nauju Danda is the one of top view point, the Fistail, Annapurna, Lamjung Himal and many beautiful places can see from Nauju Danda.
The other attraction is the visit of village ,where can see weaving , traditional Gurung houses, culture, way of livings, in the village. There are one child friendly school named ,shree Himalaya Milan Secondary School and Child Care Center and village health post. You can enjoy with the children and sharing your experience to courage them. You can visit the village health post too.
